Festivals Provide Family Fun

It’s undeniable that families in today’s culture have more obstacles in the way of quality family time together.  The many festivals, like the Kendallville Apple Festival, make a great option for families to spend quality time together and to make memories that will last forever.

Kendallville Apple Festival

Kendallville Apple Festival

The festival was first held in 1985 by four locals who wanted their small town to have a festival.  Starting with a small budget, they needed to encourage the local community and crafters to do their part.  In the beginning years, there were only a handful of vendors and dealers, but now the festival boasts a large number of craft, food, and antique vendors. This year, the festival will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9am to 6pm.  Families will be able to enjoy great food from many vendors, unique crafts, antiques, entertainment, and educational activities that encourage cultural and historical appreciation for the area’s heritage.
