Lake Wawasee Tours
If you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon on the water, the famous Oakwood Tour Boat offers to show you a scenic look at Lake Wawasee. For our overnight guests, the tour is complementary Tuesday through Thursday and $10 a person for non-guests. On Friday and Saturday, enjoy our tours for $10 a person for guests and non-guests. Be sure to plan accordingly; our tour boat takes Sundays and Mondays off.
Aquatic Activities
There’s no better way to cool off on a warmer-than-normal spring day than relaxing at the on-site swimming pier and new beach area! Many of our guests love to spend all day out on the waters of Lake Wawasee, and thanks to our many available activities, there’s always plenty to do.
Biking and Walking Paths
Whether you’re in the mood for a peaceful walk or a breezy jog, walking paths are located around the grounds of Oakwood Resort. Explore 27 acres of the resort with our paved walking paths and a one-mile circle for walking, cycling, or running. If you’re a fan of hiking, we have nearby off-road areas for light hiking!
Games
When you are event planning in Indiana, Oakwood Resort has no shortage of games for you and the whole family to enjoy! Our outdoor basketball court is the perfect place for playing a friendly game of basketball or just shooting some hoops. If regular-sized Jenga is too boring for you, we have Giant Jenga! Work together or against one another to try and beat your competitor in this enhanced version of the hit game. There are more games like Frisbee and Cornhole too, which are available at the front desk.
Outdoor Event Space
Oakwood Resort has the most beautiful event space, and if you’re event planning in Indiana the potential for the kind of events that can take place here is endless.
